HDB has just launched the February 2021 BTO today, with seven projects located in the non-mature estates of Bukit Batok and Tengah, and mature estates of Toa Payoh/Bidadari and Kallang/Whampoa, consisting of Community Care Apartments, 2-room flexi, 3-room, 4-room and 5-room residential flats.

This is the very first time HDB, together with MND and MOH, is releasing Community Care Apartments and aim to expand the continuum of housing options for seniors. Community Care Apartments integrates senior-friendly housing with care services that can be scaled according to care needs and social activities to support senior to age independently in their silver years within the community.

Like we have shared in many of our previous analysis of previous Tengah BTO launches, the pros and cons of the Tengah estate lies in its “potential”.
